Soundscape 2.50 Best of 76 and 86

The idea of running back 4 decades sounded like a good one. I have always wanted to be able to try and delve so deep into the music that I could follow a thread across the years. Not an easy task but perhaps some day I will be able to do this with smaller structures. A friend suggested to use counterpoint as the starting space. It would be worthwhile to try it but that is for another time. This time around and the follow up shows we are looking at swaths of time 40,30, 20, and 10 years ago. All this leads up to our 2016 special. Hopefully our deep dives are worth your effort.

For my musical bang as the DJ, the shows that are worth the most are the ones in which I learn about something that I did not previously know about. This show is chocked full of those moments while still allowing a focus on what I would deem to be the best stuff from 1976 and 1986. For my part I found it to be very enjoyable and I hope you guys will as well.
